EXPERIENCED CHEFAutomation Personnel Services is looking for aseveral seasonal Experienced Chefforthe daily railroad company based in Chattanooga, TN. This non-profit organization offers several daily trips exploring the Chattanooga area.This is atemporary job with several permanent opportunities.
Pay Rate
$17.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule and HoursDining car-Friday and Saturday only 12:00pm- 10:00pm or 11:00pm (will be Thursday-Sunday inpeakseason)
Tea Room-Thursday- Sunday 8:30am-3:30pm
Experienced ChefDuties and Responsibilities
Menu planning:Developing menus and daily specials
Food preparation:Creating recipes, preparing and cooking dishes, and tasting dishes before they go to customers
Kitchen management:Overseeing the kitchen staff, coordinating activities, and ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently
Food safety:Maintaining food safety standards and ensuring compliance with health codes and regulations
Inventory management:Managing food costs and inventory, and restocking food produce as needed
Equipment and supply inspection:Inspecting supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
Training:Training and leading the kitchen staff
Work environment:Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
Experienced ChefQualificationsandRequirements
Culinary Expertise:Deep understanding of classic culinary techniques, diverse cuisines, and food pairing.
Leadership Abilities:Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills to effectively manage a large team.
Organizational Skills:Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work under pressure.
Food Safety Knowledge:Thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and practices to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen.
Great attendance, customer service experience and attitude
Black pants, skirt or dress (knee length), black shirt, closed toe shoes
