Job Description:
Recent up-start Charismatic Church is currently receiving resumes for a dynamic, innovative person to create, direct, and lead our Church Worship service. The Worship Leader/Director of Worship will have the freedom to cultivate an inspiring, Christ-centered, doctrinally sound, celebratory, engaging, and memorable worship experience for multi-generational and multi-cultural believers.
We are looking for someone with a deep love for God who leads with integrity, character, and skill. This person must be a team-player who desires to serve the Church alongside other servant-leaders and play a vital role in the overall growth and development of the Church.

Responsibilities:
Be able to collaborate with the Pastor, the Music Ministry Team, Media Team and the technical support team, to create a cohesive, impactful, spiritually significant Sunday worship service (as well as monthly Revival and other Special services and/or conferences).
Be able to oversee Audio, Visual & Lighting Team as well as Media Department
Develop a volunteer-based worship team of singers and musicians. Oversee/conduct regular rehearsals in order to assure compelling worship experiences with excellence.
Develop and train those in the Church community with appropriate spiritual and musical gifts to serve on the music ministry team.
Attend staff meetings, Leadership Training Classes, and Special called meetings and Conferences.
Conduct/Oversee regular staff and volunteer meetings for Worship Team, AVL Technical Team and Media Team.
Be willing to adhere to and be responsible for proper platform attire for all worship team members that meets the guidelines of our dress code.
Platform Attire for Women of God:
We believe that Women of God ministering on the platform should wear a dress or skirt. Judgment should be used when considering the length of the dress or skirt. Please remember our stage is 5 feet high.
We believe that Women of God while on the platform should wear heels. Any heel size is appropriate but not flats.
We believe that Women of God should wear the appropriate attire and use judgment concerning clothing that would be revealing in nature.
Platform Attire for Men of God:
We believe professional attire is required to minister on the platform.
Professional attire would include pants, shirt, tie, suit coat or sport coat.
We believe that gentlemen should wear dress shoes or boots.
We believe that gentlemen should have their shoes polished and shined.

Job Qualifications:
A mature, strong, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Gifted in music as an expression of faith and creative artistic discernment.
Excellent instrumental (Keyboard) and vocal abilities.
Strong visionary, planning, and organizational skills.
Effective team builder and motivator. Competent communicator; both interpersonal and public.
Relationships:
The Praise and Worship leader will work closely with the Pastor and the Technical Support Staff and will work to have a loving relationship with the congregation and worshippers.
Accountability:
The Praise and Worship Leader is accountable to the Pastor
Evaluation:
The job performance of the Praise and Worship Leader will be evaluated quarterly and/or as needed by the Pastor.
