Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Appraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative research skills and a solid understanding of financial analysis. As an Appraiser, you will be responsible for evaluating properties, conducting market research, and preparing comprehensive reports that reflect the value of various assets. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting financial decisions and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough property appraisals to determine market value based on various factors including location, condition, and comparable sales.
Perform quantitative research and data collection to support appraisal findings.
Analyze financial data and prepare detailed financial reports that summarize appraisal results.
Utilize financial software to assist in calculations and report generation.
Collaborate with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for appraisals.
Stay updated on industry trends, tax regulations, and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements that may impact property values.
Ensure all appraisals comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Skills
Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations accurately.
Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and methodologies.
Experience with financial software tools for data analysis and report writing.
Excellent research skills for data collection and market analysis.
Ability to write clear and concise financial reports that effectively communicate findings.
Knowledge of tax regulations related to property appraisal is a plus.
