The Operator will work effectively with supervisors and peers on projects in and around the Clarksville, TN area. Positions available are FULL-TIME and YEAR-ROUND. Health, dental, vision, and 401k available for full-time employees, waiting period may apply.Track hoe Operator Job SummaryOur construction company is looking for a Track hoe Operator to move dirt and other materials on the job site. You must be able to coordinate and collaborate with other workers and supervisors on-site, so clear communication skills are crucial. You should have the skills to operate most pieces of heavy equipment, such as a loader, dozer, or backhoe. Trucking experience, including experience with both driving and loading and unloading materials, is also a plus.Responsibilities:

Work requires individuals to be aware of their surroundings and have good balance and physical strength.

Job requires individuals to be pro-active in their communication and responsible for their attendance.

General construction - job site clean-up and moving materials

Operating construction equipment with alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery to conform to location needs.

Assist in initial setup and cleanup of job sites which would include lifting, carrying, and pulling items 75+lbs in weight.

Other tasks, as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, bend, reach, kneel, crawl and stretch

Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.

Ability to wear respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces.

Qualifications

Experience working in an outdoor construction environment, preferably with underground utility experience

Must be able to work in confined spaces.

Ability to work overtime, nights and weekends based on business needs.

Must be able to successfully pass a drug test.

Valid DL

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to listen and comprehend instructions accurately to learn products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment use.
