Primary FunctionAPCOM's facility in Franklin, Tennessee, is a climate controlled facility that manufactures electric thermostats, pipe nipples, dip tubes, elements, and burner assemblies. The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will perform preventative, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment with a strong emphasis on, but not limited to electrical controls and systems. Responsibilities

Respond to production work orders regarding troubleshoot, repair and maintain a wide variety of manufacturing & facility equipment which includes fabrication, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, PLC and robotic processes.

Assist Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians on any electrical control, motion control, Vision Camera, robotic and PLC equipment

Primary PM focus on electrical cabinets, PLC/Robot/Drive Backups

Become familiar with APCOM’s product specifications and the quality standards, including assisting in the development and upkeep of operating procedures for process and equipment, reviewing each line for quality, and working with the Quality department to train employees to identify quality problems.

Complete all work orders related in a timely manner.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required, Journeyman or similar related certification or degree preferred

Five years of experience in specific responsibilities mentioned above

Must possess a complete set of maintenance tools

Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, PLC’s and robotics

EducationHigh School Diploma or GEDTrade School DegreePhysical Requirements

Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toe shoes/boots, ear and eye protection.

The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
