We are seeking an Oncology Surgery Team Lead for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. • You will be responsible for member of their designated service line including Registered Nurses, First Assistants, Surgical Technologists and Second Assistants.
• You will be responsible for delivery of perioperative nursing care to surgical patients.
• You will maintain aseptic and safe environment in the operating room
• You will perform circulator, scrub and first assistant roles as competent
• You will provide direction and acts as resource to members of the specialty team to ensure comprehensive and safe patient care.
• You will maintain full accountability to ensure that supplies and equipment are available to perform cases within their assigned specialty

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
• Communication and Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with internal and external customers
• BLS as required
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience and 1-2 years progressive management preferred – if hired w/out Bachelor’s degree, encouraged to be actively pursuing degree
• Certification within area of expertise w/in 3 years of role acceptance
