Speech Pathologist-Acute PRN

Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.Reports to: Director - Rehab Services or Director - IRUPerforms and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.

Drag Edit DeleteEducates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.

Drag Edit DeleteSupervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.Minimum Education

Master's degree in Speech Pathology - Required

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 30 days of hire, if not current upon hire.

Licenses: Tennessee licensure in Speech Pathology - Required
