Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. Performs Senior level functions as assigned by the Laboratory Director.Reports to: Laboratory Supervisor and Director of Laboratory ServicesFollows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing.

Bachelor's degree in a laboratory, chemical, biological or physical science - RequiredGraduation from NAACLS-Accredited Program - Preferred

Licenses:

Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist Certification (ASCP or AMT) or State of Tennessee Medical Technologist Generalist - Required within 12 months of hire or transfer to position
