Under general supervision, ensure the safety of guests by preventing and responding to emergencies. A Lifeguard must have knowledge of water hazards, lifesaving techniques and first aid, recognize hazardous situations, and adopt effective courses of action. The Lifeguard must also have effective communication skills and engage positively with the public.As a Lifeguard, you will:Ensure the safety of guests by maintaining constant surveillance; scanning, and monitoring of guests for the assigned pool or water park areaRenders emergency care and contacts emergency medical services as necessaryAssists with maintaining the cleanliness of the facilityPrepares and maintains activity reportsAttends scheduled in-service training and follow all established safety proceduresAssists team members with other duties as requiredTo excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
