Supports resort operations by performing basic plumbing duties such as projects, preventive maintenance, & work orders.
As a Plumber, you will:Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes and preventative maintenance as instructed by resort leadershipAble to execute daily tasks and projects assigned in plumbing systems and support other tradesAdvanced knowledge of plumbing systems operations, installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and replacementsExpert ability to install residential type water fixtures such as toilets, faucets, valves, water heaters and appliancesAbility to perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on residential and commercial type water heaters and pump systemsLead projects in installations of plumbing rough ins for domestic, sanitary, storm and fire safetyExpert ability repairing leaks and/or installing piping using CPVC, PVC, PEX, copper, cast iron and black steelExpert using pro-press fittings, no-hub couplings, soldering copper and utilizing PVC solvents as applicableAbility to perform pipe leak tests on pressurized and open vent systemsAbility to read and interpret technical data, and Operation & Maintenance manualsActively participates in procurement and inventory process to ensure materials and tools are on-site for workAbility to effectively operate resort operations devices & software (HotSOS)Communicates professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal communicationsPerform custodial and maintenance duties, as required by resort leadershipSafely uses hand tools, electrical and battery powered tools and/or any other pertinent tool required by the jobAbility to work using ladders, scaffolds, lifts, dust masks and work in confined/tight spacesMust have the ability to follow safety guidelines & practicesRecognizes and identifies potential hazards in the propertyAbility to communicate and interpret guest needs by positively interacting towards resolutionsOther duties as assigned by resort operations leadershipTo excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
