Description Are you ready to kick off or grow your career in accounting? Our client in Hendersonville, TN is looking for a Staff Accountant with 1-3 years of experience who’s ready to dive into financial reporting, problem-solving, and process improvement on a collaborative team. This position will be hybrid in office, and may be eligible for a bonus!What You’ll Do:
Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts, and investigate discrepancies.
Support financial statement prep and management reports.
Follow up on outstanding receivables and record wires, ACHs, and bank fees.
Manage payroll adjustments, stale checks, and financial data uploads.
Prepare journal entries for accruals, reclasses, and reserves.
Analyze spending trends and budget variances for Operations teams.
Contribute to depreciation, amortization, and other monthly processes.
Tackle ad-hoc tasks to keep things interesting!

What You Bring:
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of experience, plus basic knowledge of accounting principles (bonus if you know US GAAP!).
Strong Excel skills (Pivot Table fanatics welcome!).
Detail-oriented, analytical, and ready to work with a collaborative team.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with NetSuite or other ERP System is a plus.
Medium-to-large company or public accounting exposure.
CPA aspirations or certification in progress.
