Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Quality Service Training Specialist to contribute to our Lightning Source team in Jackson, TNWant to join a key team that helps the world read?At Ingram, the Operations team serves a key role within the organization.  We ensure that our distribution centers and manufacturing facilities function at maximum efficiency.   Safety is a core value in our distribution environment.  We emphasize this through training, education and accident prevention programs.  Process Improvement is another core value, and through innovations such as voice and Radio Frequency (RF) technologies, as well as feedback from our associates, we work toward constant improvement. The world is reading, and it is our goal to connect as many people to the content they want in the simplest ways.  If you want to be part of a customer-centric team that strives for excellence, collaboration, innovation, we can’t wait to meet you!Shift:M-F 7pm-3:30amWhat You'll Need:1 yr of experience in the administration of training programs in a manufacturing environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent required. What You'll Do:Conducts general training on all processes, equipment and warehouse procedures for new hires and temporary associates.Responsible for the development, updating, and implementation of training materials for hourly associates and departments.Coordinates and establishes training schedule for new hires, transfers, and temporary associates.Updates and distributes SOPs on processes, procedures & equipment, writes checklists’, and creates training schedules.Establishes training guidelines/sessions for new processes, procedures & equipment and/or product offerings.Organizes and conducts annual departmental refresher training for all existing hourly associates.Conducts audits of existing SOPs in all operations areas and updates based findings.Solicits associates for “best practices” and applies those to existing SOPs with management approval.Monitors and analyzes training programs designed to maintain/improve quality.Recommends modifications and improvements to training systems and procedures.Maintains master training spreadsheets used in skills assessments and performs reassessments on a regular basis.Coordinates logistics for training activities including venues and equipment.Conducts training-related presentations during weekly shift meetings or monthly Safety and Quality Huddles when requested.Responsible for maintaining documentation of previous associate trainings.Establishes criteria, coordinates, and executes train-the-trainer programs.Assists with quality audits when time is available
