Stetson Courier Inc. - 1099 Subcontractor Position
Thank you for your interest in the 1099 subcontractor position at Stetson Courier Inc., where we rely on dedicated individuals over 21 years of age to use their personal vehicles for delivering patient medications 24 hours a day. This part-time opportunity involves both scheduled routes and on-demand “STAT” deliveries. Drivers are also required to deliver in ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS (rain, snow, ice, etc.)

Successful candidates must meet the following prerequisites:
- Have received a COVID vaccination.
- Own a spacious vehicle suitable for deliveries. Preferred vehicles include minivans, transit vans, cargo vans, sprinter vans, and certain SUV models, based on their size and capacity.
Position Details:
- Compensation Structure:
FIRST PAY CHECK, FRIDAY OF 3RD WORK WEEK; REQUIRED TO HAVE FUEL FUNDS FOR 3 WEEKS
- Reimbursement for fuel expenses based on total miles traveled.
- Hourly pay rate of $21 for route deliveries.
- For STAT deliveries, the rate is $0.95 per one-way mile, with a minimum payment of $20. STAT deliveries often require daytime & overnight trips covering up to 200 miles. These deliveries, which can be requested at any time, are vital as they involve time-sensitive medications for patients.
- Delivery Information:
- Attached you'll find the Stat Sheet, listing every Long-Term Care Facility with patients.
- The Route Sheet provides details of our scheduled delivery routes, with assigned facilities, pick up time, pick up address, and the correct order of delivery.
- Urgency and Responsibility:
- All deliveries are urgent and must be treated with utmost seriousness. If you ever find yourself unable to fulfill a scheduled delivery, immediate notification is essential. Our 24-hour dispatch line is available for such notifications and various other reasons.
- Availability Requirement:
- Drivers must be available round the clock for both local and long-distance deliveries up to 200 miles. This constant availability ensures timely delivery of crucial patient medications, meeting urgent requests effectively. Our commitment to swift and dependable services is pivotal in maintaining our competitive edge and reputation for reliability. Drivers are also required to deliver in ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS (rain, snow, ice, etc.)
- Payment and Schedule:
FIRST PAY CHECK, FRIDAY OF 3RD WORK WEEK; REQUIRED TO HAVE FUEL FUNDS FOR 3 WEEKS
- Payment will be on a weekly basis, with direct deposits initiated after the first two weeks of work. Payday falls on Fridays.
