JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

Employee assists the AR Processor in all accounts receivable functions, and ensures Swaggerty Sausage Co. Inc. receives payments for goods and services, and records these transactions accordingly. The accounts receivable clerk compiles and maintains accounts receivable records. This role requires the candidate to be organized and have a keen eye for detail to spot any issues that may arise.

Essential Functions

1. Maintaining the billing system.

2. Performing account reconciliations.

3. Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.

4. Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Some overtime may be required.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma is helpful, but not required. Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role.
