Position Summary: This position serves to coordinate and manage assigned projects and serve in a collaborative role with the hospital affiliate marketing managers and others in the execution of a variety of internal/ external projects, events and initiatives. The position will routinely communicate with and provide information to Marketing Leadership, hospital CAO’s and their leadership, system leaders, Physician Placement Specialists (Recruiters), Physician Services Liaisons, and Executive Leadership in support of Covenant Health strategies and programs. Plans, writes and executes communication and awareness campaigns in traditional and new media for service lines and system programs as requested by the Vice President or leadership designee.

Plans, writes and maintains collateral materials for designated service lines and system programs as requested by the Vice President or leadership designee.

Coordinates website, provides information and supports the Covenant Online Store.

Provides information for Public Relations inquiries and support as appropriate to the system public relations efforts both at a corporate level and an affiliate level as requested or needed

Provides direction and is central contact for Covenant Sponsored events. Duties include producing exhibits and presentations, planning and coordination, food and supplies, developing publicity, set up and providing event support.

Manages Physician Need and Supply Project as requested or needed. Works closely with Physician Placement Specialists (recruiters), Community Physician Offices, CAO’s, Decision Support, the Call Center and Statistician to ensure data is gathered timely, entered into the system and available for reporting and distribution to support community need.

Plans, coordinates and conducts business development and referral outreach activities as requested by the Vice President or leadership designee.

Provides support and development of key Covenant events to include Board Retreat and President’s

Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsMinimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications. Minimum Experience: Excellent writing skills, relationship development, and communication skills. Must demonstrate experience in event management. Excellent organizational skills, ability to work on deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to work independently or in a team environment.
