We are hiring picker/packers to work for a great company in Knoxville, TN. You can expect to work under the day to day guidance of the warehouse supervisor. We are looking for engaged and enthusiastic individuals who are looking to work in the manufacting industry, apply today!ResponsibilitiesInspect and pack product per customer specification using safe work practices.
Notify the Operator when product does not meet quality specifications; assist with resolution.
Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork.
Read & understand Production Order Packet (POP); set up work area using materials as specified in the POP; replenish materials as needed.
Assist the Operator with set-up and/or change over activities as directed.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures.
Actively engage in safety programs.
Assist other team members as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 10 hours at one time
working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week
