Small, boutique company in West Knox needs a new team member for light industrial work, grinding small parts at a bench with a precision bench top grinder. Very flexible hours. No heavy lifting at all. No experience necessary, we will train you in 2 days. Must be detail oriented. Our business hours are 8:30 to 6PM, and your hours are very flexible within those hours. We need 15 - 20 hours a week and it does not matter to us if it's 3-4 hours a day for five days, or two 8 hour days, whatever is best for your student schedule.
We are very convenient to Pellissippi but our last team member went to UT so it could work for either one.
The job does require manual dexterity, good vision and a commitment to accuracy and quality. We will train you to achieve the accuracy and quality, you have to commit to it individually because there won't be a supervisor looking over your shoulder constantly. Job is open to male or female candidates, we have had both doing this job in the past. Our last student recently graduated from UT and we are looking for their long term replacement.
