The purpose of this job is to conduct project cost analyses and estimates, and assist in the bid process for construction projects.Collaborate with project managers in preparation of preliminary budgetsReview design options and recommend best solutions based on cost, quality and availability of labor, materials and equipmentIdentify and prepare contractor scope of work, solicit bids, and assist in proposal analysis, buyout and turnover processCollaborate with engineers, architects, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimatesMaintain unit cost and historical cost databaseDevelop and maintain subcontractor relationshipsAssist stakeholders in negotiating national vendor pricingConduct post-project closeout cost analyses and reportingWork with project teams to ensure that cost targets and deadlines are metModel behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest levelEnsure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresComplete other duties as assigned
