Registered NurseCardiology Clinic / Monday - Friday / 8:00am-5:30pmResponsibilities
Accurately record patient history per policy
Retrieve initial basic condition of patients and create nursing history to report to appropriate practitioner
Monitor and ensure accuracy of recording on patient medical records
Maintain all required reports, records, statistics, etc.
Ensure an adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipment
Inspect area daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, and take corrective action when violations occur
Schedule all outside patient appointments per physician order and relay them accurately to patients
Take calls from hospitals and nursing homes and relay appropriate information to practitioner in a timely manner
Assure test results are received and relayed to the patient in a timely manner
Complete medical orientation checklist
Initiate appropriate patient education
Essential Skills
Registered Nurse with state of TN or compact state license
BLS Certified
EKG Experience Required
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Cardiac Experience Preferred
Will consider hospital or primary care experience
