We are seeking an experienced and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team at the Yacht Club. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional dishes in a fast-paced fine dining environment

Duties

- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menu specifications, ensuring dishes are prepared to a high standard.

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and handling procedures.

- Assist with meal preparation, including food preparation, portioning, and plating.

- Help with expediting dishes, ensuring orders are delivered promptly and efficiently.

- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service.

- Assist with dietary aide duties, such as accommodating special dietary requests and preparing meals for guests with specific needs.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of food industry practices, including food safety and knife handling.

- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items and ingredients.

- Maintain a high level of culinary skills and creativity in meal preparation.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a fine dining or high-volume kitchen environment.

- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, including knife skills and food handling practices.

- Experience with food safety and handling procedures.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

- Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

- Experience as a dietary aide or meal preparation assistant.

- A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional dishes.
