Description and Qualifications
The Server 1 position is responsible for providing guests with a memorable dining experience. Server 1 functions as Steward, Seater, Food & Drink Runner and In Room Dining Attendant. Additionally, servers will be expected to gather personal details about our guests to customize their future dining experiences. They must have the passion to go above and beyond expectations to provide every guest with a creative and tailored dining experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Functions as Steward, Seater, Food & Drink Runner and IRD Attendant
Responsible for making a lasting impression on Guests as they arrive and depart
Welcoming Guests to the restaurant, using good posture and a warm, sincere greeting
Interacts with Guests with great poise, friendliness and proper verbiage
Provides a chit to Kitchen and Server 2
Delivers menus and seats Guests in the Dining Room
Responsible for preparing the Dining Room for operations and service
Executing the setup of dining spaces by moving tables and chairs to achieve necessary table configurations
Vacuuming dining spaces to ensure continued cleanliness
Setting tables according to AM/PM standards
Polishing glassware and silverware
Crumbing chairs
Maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, common spaces, especially around the fireplace
Performing routine deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
Maintaining “the look” of the space
Lifting and carrying chairs, tables and other equipment during setup; trays up to 28 lbs. and furniture up to 50 lbs.
Understanding menu and food terminology
Attentive to all Team Members, assisting all positions as necessary
Prepares and delivers In-Room Dining service items accordingly
Menu Knowledge of the menus within your restaurant
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in a Food & Beverage Service preferred
Experience related to dealing with general public preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have excellent verbal communication skills
Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, team members and managers
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic knowledge and understanding of math
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand on feet for a long period of time
Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart

Dining Room, Bar and Kitchen areas
