Special Care Incorporated is currently hiring to fill full-time and part-time positions for caregivers in the Knoxville, Oak Ridge, and Clinton areas!
We are a non-medical home health agency that specializes in assisting our patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as cooking, dressing, bathing, light housekeeping, and errands.
We are looking for new employees who enjoy helping others and are interested in making a living doing it.
As a non-medical agency, we accept applicants with no experience in this field. We are happy to train those with little or no experience who would like to enter this field, as well as those looking for job credits for nursing programs through a paid internship.
We currently have a priority case to staff in Knoxville, but are also hiring for all of our service areas: Knox, Blount, Anderson, and Loudon counties.
The priority case is 27 hours per week, with Monday & Friday being 10am to 4pm and Tuesday through Thursday being 10am to 3pm.
We also have additional hours to include with these shifts for applicants seeking a full time position.
Applicants willing to work these shifts will be given priority consideration.
We have additional cases and shifts available for applicants seeking more hours as well.
Job Requirements:
-Must be 18+ years old
-Must pass criminal background check with no violent felonies
-Must pass federal and state sex offender registry checks
-Must have personal transportation (clients do have errands and aides must be able to run them)
-Previous experience a plus but not required
-Must have either Saturday OR Sunday availability
