Fast-paced dental practice in West Knoxville is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated and professional Dental Hygienist with an excellent work ethic, positive attitude, and devoted to the success of our practice to join our team. The position is Monday 8-5:30, Tuesday & Wednesday 7-4:40 & Thursday 7-1 or 2.
Responsibilities-
Provide oral hygiene care and patient education
Assess patient's dental condition and effectively communicate patient needs
Review medical and dental history
Anesthesia as needed
Ability to treatment plan and effectively communicate for case acceptance
Fluoride varnish application
Application of dental sealants
Administer Nitrous oxide
Prophylaxis and Periodontal Cleanings
Requirements-
1 years of experience in dental hygiene
Current Tennessee Dental Hygiene license
N2O Certification
Anesthesia Certification
Current CPR certification
Experience using digital x-rays, intraoral cameras
Experience with Dentrix Practice Management Software, a plus
