Special Care Incorporated is currently hiring to fill a part-time position for a companion care case for a patient with Alzheimers Disease caregivers in Farragut, TN!
We are a non-medical home health agency that specializes in assisting our patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) but are currently seeking to hire for a case requiring only companion care and the serving of premade snacks, but no other services.
At the client's request, the patient, who is female, requires a female aide between 30-50 years of age to provide companion care, such as accompanying the patient in watching TV, listening to Christian praise music, serving premade snack foods, and doing simple activities in order to entertain the patient while the client is away from home during service days.
As a non-medical agency, we accept applicants with no experience in this field. We are happy to train those with little or no experience who would like to enter this field, as well as those looking for job credits for nursing programs through a paid internship.
The shift hours each day are 12:30p4:30pm or 1:30pm5:30pm, every Tuesday and Thursday. We also have additional clients and shifts available for applicants seeking more hours than this case entails.
Job Requirements:
-Must be 18+ years old
-Must pass criminal background check with no violent felonies
-Must pass federal and state sex offender registry checks
-Must have personal transportation
-Previous experience a plus but not required
