Job description
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport goods to customers' locations in a timely manner
- Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before departure
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including addressing any customer concerns or issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating delivery vehicles
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a delivery driver or courier is preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy packages as needed
