Looking to hire a part time 2-4 days a week (possible full time) driver/home improvement apprentice to help in the everyday business operations.
This person’s must own a reliable truck or vehicle with insurance that can haul on occasion 2x4’s and other smaller contractor materials from Home Depot to the job site. Mileage and gas will be paid for.
Once on the job site, you will be helping the other contractors perform general maintenance and repair work including tile, framing, painting and other home improvement duties.
Our hours are from 8am-4pm but we are flexible to an extent.
You will be paid on the books and have unemployment benefits, workman’s compensation and get direct deposit every Thursday. We provide a fun enjoyable atmosphere and do professional home improvement projects from bathroom remodels to kitchen remodels to flooring, painting, door installations and more.
This would be a great opportunity for a semi retired person or someone who is looking to learn more about the trade.
Please have a valid drivers license, the ability to lift objects from 5-150 pounds, be reliable and willing to work with the team. We are a growing business and have hired 3 people in the last year due to the quality work we do and the work load we have. All of our employees are very happy.
If things work out you can go full time.
A typical day would involve showing up on the job site, possible working with the guys all day or running out to Home Depot, picking up materials then back to the job site to help the guys again. Some days you will work to 4pm, or 12 noon. If you like you can work mornings from 8am to 12 noon. We offer flexablility, low stress and a fun environment.
Pay starts off at $18-20/hour plus gas and mileage. After 1 month we will re-evaluate your performance and would love to give a raise if you prove yourself or more hours.
We work in all areas of Knoxville from Farragut to Halls to Mascot and beyond.
