We are searching for an individual with a great attitude, energy, and enthusiasm for building equipment; someone who enjoys a manufacturing challenge, and thrives in a lively environment. We have an immediate opening for the following position:
Fabricator/Welder
Layout, fit, tack, and weld steel and aluminum parts in accordance with drawings and specifications using GMAW and GTAW processes. The individual will fabricate weldments starting from raw material, and manage the welding process, sequence, and distortion to meet drawing requirements. The individual shall be proficient reading mechanical drawings and be able to qualify welder performance in accordance with AWS and ASME codes and standards.
The individual should desire to work in manufacturing and fabricate equipment such as:
⢠Precision tooling for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter,
⢠Ground support equipment for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program,
⢠Target Modules and Instruments for the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS),
⢠Vessels for the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR), or
⢠Vacuum Manifolds for the Uranium Processing Facility (UPF).
