Qualifications:
Reliable transportation to and from work
A valid drivers license
Must have 4 years of group sales experience in a hospitality / resort environment
Must be a self-starter and strong communicator, both written and verbal
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Design effective marketing programs to drive company sales.
Promote and sell group event packages, focusing on weddings, family reunions, corporate, and related products/services.
Engage with potential guests to generate interest and close sales.
Track and collect guest information for future sales engagement, and follow-up.
Report activity to the President ensuring weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales metrics are met.
Manage assets, including marketing materials, tables, displays, etc.
Responsible for event sales and planning activities, including guests inquiries, proposals, and contracts.
Collaborate with guests to understand their event needs, preferences, and budgets.
Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, decor, and audiovisual requirements.
Assist in creating detailed event timelines and itineraries.
Support the team in managing event budgets and financial transactions.
Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns.
Assist in conducting site visits and showcasing event spaces to potential clients.
