Reports ToThe Salesforce Administrator will report to the IT Manager.

Job OverviewThe Salesforce Administrator position will support the company growth through maintaining and customizing all the business tools on the Salesforce platform. This will include working with the IT Manager to prioritize projects and working directly with other department managers on specific projects. The position is primarily a remote position during the current Covid-19 crisis, but must be willing to travel to main office as needed, complying with current health guidelines. A successful Salesforce Administrator will build and customize reports for department heads, train staff on salesforce report builder and other workflow interfaces, prepare and promote the switch to Lightning interface, work with Salesforce Flows and other no code automation tools, maintain a good backup of configurations, optimize data usage and promote best practices throughout the platform.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Build and maintain platform automations using workflow rules, process builders, autolaunch flows, screen flows, email alerts, email templates, etc.
  • Support 3rd party packages on Salesforce platform, primarily Rootstock ERP and Financials, Geopointe, Zenkraft.
  • Manage Salesforce security including roles, profiles, groups and permission sets.
  • Build and maintain custom report types, reports and dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Salesforce reported by users.
  • Develop training documentation for different departments in Sharepoint.
  • Evaluate and when appropriate implement new releases of Salesforce and other installed packages; provide related training and support to users.
  • Coordinate with each department on Lightning transition; build Lightning apps as appropriate.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce Mobile apps as appropriate.
  • Perform bulk data exports / imports for various departments as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by IT Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • An analytical thinker with an eye for details while not forgetting strategy.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality of information regarding company intellectual property, financial information, etc.
  • Organizational and time management skills; completing work within agreed upon timeframes.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 desktop software

Qualifications
  • Appropriate salesforce certifications or 2 years similar experience with Salesforce.
  • Preferred, strong experience with Lightning, Flows.
