Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Oak Ridge, TN. This position plays a key role in maintaining the quality and functionality of our residential community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing units for new residents through make-ready turns and addressing routine and emergency service requests from current residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform make-ready turns, including general repairs, to ensure vacant units are ready for move-in.
Respond promptly to resident service requests and complete repairs efficiently and professionally.
Troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance throughout the property.
Maintain accurate records of completed work and report any recurring maintenance issues.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in property maintenance or a similar role.
Strong working knowledge of maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Ability to diagnose issues and perform hands-on repairs with minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including on-call shifts.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
