We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of windows and doors in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes.
Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit.
Read and interpret, schematics, and technical drawings.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations.
Perform caulking to seal gaps around windows and doors for energy efficiency.
Conduct repairs on existing installations as needed.
Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
Proficient in carpentry techniques with hands-on experience in window/door installation.
Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Skilled in using hand tools (saws, drills, etc.) and power tools (screwdrivers, nail guns).
Experience with caulking techniques for sealing installations effectively.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
