How Much Money Do DOD Truck Drivers Make?
WE ARE IN NEED OF EXPERIENCED DOD CERTIFIED ESTABLISHED TEAMS WITH HAZMAT AND READY TO RIDE
Even though team drivers may be driving less than they would when they’re driving OTR, they will still be making more.
Each team hauling Department of Defense freight can make between $2,500 and $3,000 each week EACH and that is when freight is slow.
It is a very lucrative line of work because this kind of freight is so important.
Keep On Trucking!
Despite its strict requirements, drivers love hauling DOD freight because they feel like they are part of something bigger. The excitement on troops’ faces when they get new equipment is one that you can’t understand until you are the one hauling that equipment for them. It is a great honor and privilege.
Although you are out 3 to 4 weeks at a time, you will be satisfied with the work and the pay saying to yourself “Job well done driver!”
Driving for the DOD is intense — are you up for the job?
The DOD uses four general modes of transportation: Highway, Rail, Marine, and Air.
Your job of course would be the Highway.
