Manage a team and coordinate day-to-day activities while enhancing workflow and efficiencies.
Work with Executive Leadership to develop the strategic direction for the business. Provide direction and guidance to functional and business leaders on the development and execution of tactical plans to support the business strategy.
Manager responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring, training, monitoring work, performance reviews, career development, discipline and resolving issues in accordance with applicable laws and/or company policy.
Communicate clearly and directly with employees concerning performance expectations, productivity and accountability.
Assess, manage and motivate all senior management and direct reports with a strong emphasis on planning, implementation, discipline, follow-up, accountability and communication.
Develop a lean, high-performance culture that rewards overachievement and encourages continuous improvements at all levels of the organization.
Responsible for meeting the production deadlines as well as communicating business goals, processes and procedures for the entire floor.
Oversee the management of the infrastructure and systems to be consistent with the requirements and growth of the company.
Drive decisions to cut costs, create efficiencies, improve quality, and enhance customer service.
Develop and oversee the annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts and capital expenditures.
Oversee the financial planning and analysis of the business to identify operating trends and help improve profitable growth, operating efficiencies and cash flow management.
Develop and implement key policies and procedures that improve the company's business practices and ensure that they are compliant with all legal, safety and regulatory agencies.
Oversee and monitor all safety initiatives in the production area.
qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a General Manager role in Manufacturing
Minimum 3 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
