Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Production & Logistics Planner to support our Operations team in La Vergne, TN.  The Production & Logistics Planner plans, controls, and directs manufacturing capacity utilization to ensure optimal levels of customer service with the minimum inventory investment and the maximum plant operating efficiency consistent with plant objectives.  This role will manage the technical aspect of the router system through analysis, programming/writing jobs, and performing maintenance.Want to join a key team that helps the world read?The world is reading, and it is our goal to connect as many people as possible to the content they want in the simplest ways. If you want to be part of a customer-centric team that strives for excellence, collaboration, innovation, we can’t wait to meet you!Schedule:M-F 1st shift w/ occasional weekend and off hours coverage as needed.After completing training, this position offers a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent year for year experience5 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler or related role5 years’ experience in Logistical Management/distribution environment1 year of SQL experience required3 years’ Oracle or related database experience3 years of technical writingPreferred Skills:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey insights clearly.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities across different teamsHighly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and drive data-informed decision-making.Essential Duties:Prepare production schedules for business unit or organization; draw up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders; arrange orders into a sequential work schedule; examine production specifications and capacity data and perform mathematical calculations to determine production processes, tools, and human resource requirementsCreate, manage and maintain router system, through systems analysis and programmingCreate special customer jobs and system configuration based on contractual, manufacturing and/or business unit needs.Collect and analyze all relevant data to include, analyzing, planning, developing and programming comprehensive router jobs to keep cost low, while still keeping productivity and service high.Provide daily oversight of scheduled jobs in each of the established sites to ensure consistent and accurate workflow while balancing TAT in regard to customer’s expectationsInterpret data on logistic elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, distribution, or transportation.Perform analysis, studies, problem identification and resolution in support of customer’s logistics.Communicates customer orders and statuses to operations leadership to provide accurate information in order to ensure daily and weekly goals are achieved.Review volume and labor goals weekly with operations senior leadership to execute and exceed KPM goals.Provide remote support for our, AU, FR, UK, SJ, Global  Connect , Offset Printers and BV in regard to creation and /or configuration/programming of jobs with a specified rules base on site’s needs.Hiring Salary Range: $72,895k - $92,168k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to:  the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
