Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Publisher Technical Specialist to contribute to our team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. The Publisher Technical Specialist serves as a technical systems specialist supporting IngramSpark publishers participating in IPS full-service distribution programs. Provides platform expertise across IngramSpark, CoreSource, and iQ, facilitating accurate account and title data management and serving as a knowledgeable resource for publishers and internal teams navigating the systems and workflows that power full-service distribution. Acts as a first point of contact for platform-related inquiries, account maintenance needs, and distribution status questions, helping publishers get the most out of each system while supporting the smooth operation of the ISD program.Ingram Content Group (“Ingram”) connects people with content in all forms. With an expansive global network of offices and facilities, Ingram’s services include digital and physical book distribution, print-on-demand, and digital learning.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or year for year directly related experience3 years of experience in book publishing, book industry, account support, client administration, data management, or related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Proficiency in IngramSpark platform, including account setup, title management, pricing, and metadata.Working knowledge of CoreSource content management workflows and iQ reporting and order management functionsKey Responsibilities:Serves as a primary point of contact for IngramSpark publishers participating in IPS distribution programs.Manages and executes updates to publisher account and title information across IngramSpark, CoreSource, and iQ platforms, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.Responds to publisher and internal inquiries about the status of full-service distribution accounts, title setup, metadata, pricing, and related system activity.Maintains working knowledge of IPS operational workflows, including how data flows between IngramSpark and IPS systems, and how and when titles are presented to trade accounts.Collaborates with IPS sales, client relations, and operations teams to ensure smooth title setup, seasonal list management, and timely submission of sales materials and metadata.Guides publishers through platform-specific processes and best practices, translating complex system requirements into clear, actionable instructions.Identifies and troubleshoot data discrepancies or system issues across platforms, coordinating with internal technical and operations teams as needed.Educates partner publishers on industry best practices including metadata quality, pricing strategy, inventory management, and sell-in requirements for major accounts.Supports onboarding of new ISD publishers by preparing and verifying account and title data across all relevant platformsCollaborates with the Manager, Publisher Relations and Sr. Manager, ISD to ensure alignment between publisher account status, sales readiness, and distribution timelines.Serves as an internal subject-matter expert on self-publishing and indie distribution, providing insight to the IPS sales team and IngramSpark publishers.Maintains documentation of platform processes, workflows, and common troubleshooting scenarios for use by the ISD team and publishers.Offers informed, diplomatic feedback on title development or editorial positioning when requested by publishers.Learns and operationalizes Edelweiss as a required tool in support of IPS seasonal sales workflows and metadata management. Provides regular status updates and reporting on account and title activity across platforms.Supports continuous improvement initiatives related to data quality, platform integration, and publisher experience within the ISD program.Fosters collaboration between authors, publishers, and the IPS sales team to build enthusiasm and alignment around title launches and brand identity.Hiring Salary Range: $51,740 - $64,299. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to:  the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
