ELECTRICAL FACILITIES ENGINEER | MARYVILLE, TN Summary:

The position will be covering arc flash analysis programs campus wide.

This individual will be responsible for reviewing material and data that is submitted by construction contractors, going to site and collecting data for analysis, and then completing arc flash analysis.

This will include running the analysis, providing results to Facilities department customers (such as providing new labels, PPE labels, or verifying existing labels), and maintaining model and software data for the campus.

If modifications or corrections are required from the study, this individual will work with Electrical Engineer to develop counter measures and work with contractors to implement.

This individual will need basic understanding of one line diagram and power distribution systems.

Responsibilities:

Review arc flash data sheets

Gather data to fill out arc flash data sheets

Run arc flash analysis on production lines, Facilities panels, and Facilities equipment

Maintain project schedules by running analysis through Arc Flash queue on DOMO

Review reports for any issues or discrepancies

Create counter measures to lower arc flash incident energy if requested or study comes back higher than acceptable level

Print labels and supply to customer and install labels on equipment that is maintained by the Facilities Dept.
