Overview
As an On-Site Self Storage Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our self-storage facility. The workload is approximately 5-7 hours per week (although the exact hours per week may vary), offering flexibility while occasionally requiring on-site presence during urgent situations. The ideal candidate will be someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of efficiently managing tasks to contribute to the overall success of the property. This is a great opportunity to bring in supplemental income and grow in managerial experience, and to work with a fast-growing company!
Key Requirements:
Diligence and Timeliness: Complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner each week based on deadlines given, and proactively communicate in a timely manner if there are any issues that surface.
Property Management: Prepare units by sweeping out units when one is vacated, manage locks on units that are delinquent in payments, help take photos of the property for marketing, etc.
Software Proficiency: Comfortable using software tools such as Google Workspace and our online property management system.
Proactive Approach: Identify and implement improvements to enhance property operations.
Maintenance: Help ensure any maintenance gets completed, whether doing yourself or coordinating with a chosen vendor to help complete the tasks
Strong Communication Skills: Directly work with our remote call center team on what tasks need to be completed related to which units/tenants.
Customer Interaction: Engage with customers in a positive and professional manner when needed (we have a remote call center team but occasionally .
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in self-storage or property management (a plus but not required).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to unexpected situations.
Experience with maintenance or managing maintenance providers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
