Summary Position coordinates contract communication and implementation processes at all entities and provides guidance on the inventory management of all products used within. Contributes to a working environment, organizational climate, and corporate culture that promote a customer-focused philosophy, mutual respect, and quality internal and external professional relationships. Conducts business affairs in a manner that earns the respect of both internal customers and suppliers by promoting high standards of integrity and business ethics in internal and external business relationships.Responsibilities

"Coordinates contract communication and implementation processes at all entities via supervision, direction, and support to entity materials managers.

Facilitates problem resolution and system-wide management of ""non-contract"" issues related to vendors and/or product standardization/compliance.

Provides leadership and direction to hospitals to optimize efficiencies from within the ERP system pertaining to the procurement, storage and distribution of all supplies. Such efficiencies to be reported via quarterly inventory reports reflecting value on hand, turn rates, linen utilization, etc.

Develops and maintains strong professional relationships to promote supply chain goals and objectives at the entity level.

Supports Baptist's implementation of cost control strategies and logistics relating to the acquisition, storage and utilization of all products - capital and non-capital.

Provides support to value analysis leadership related to product evaluation/selection and contract implementation in both clinical and non-clinical/administrative areas.

Oversees receiving and mail room functions at corporate office, in addition to bulk warehouse operation to include records storage and inventory and deployment of bulk PPE to all entities on an as-needed basis.

Conducts business affairs in a manner that earns the respect of both internal customers and suppliers by promoting high standards of integrity and business ethics in internal and external business relationships.

Interacts with staff and customers to hire, train, supervise, counsel and evaluate all materials management employees.

Performs other duties as assigned. "

Requirements, Preferences and Experience EducationPreferred: Master's Degree or advanced certification APP, CPM, CPSM, CPIM, CPSM, CMRP or equivalent. Minimum: Bachelor's Degree or at least ten (10) years' experience in a discipline comprised of logistics, accounting, and/or finance. ExperiencePreferred: Prior materials management experience in a supervisory or management capacity within health care.Minimum: Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in supply chain operations, including project management, sourcing and contract administration. Licensure, Registration, CertificationPreferred: CPSM, CPIM, or CMRP Special SkillsMinimum: Excellent planning, communication, and presentation skills. TrainingPreferred: Prior experience/expertise with Lawson and/or Oracle ERP systems.
