Your work will have a real-world impact, and you will be supported in achieving your career goals.Location / Division Specific InformationThe Thermo Fisher Scientific Memphis site is part of the PSG-CTD Division. It is a multi-product and multi-client biopharmaceutical site supporting Clinical Ancillary Management (CAM). We provide storage and order fulfillment of commercial and commercial-free pharmaceutical products for our clients. We have capabilities to support and store products that require cold chain and ambient processing.How will you make an impact?As a Distribution Study Associate, you will be responsible for daily operations coordinating shipments from start to finish, and offering exceptional customer service skills. The Distribution Study Associate will partner with internal and external clients, agents, and vendors regarding all aspects of CAM shipments. These duties will be performed according to established safety, security, and quality guidelines in our cGDP and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facility.What will you do?

Applies Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.

Deciphers customer requests and enters into the Global Project Management (GPM) System.

Accurately enters data in GPM and verifies other DSA’s work within the system or any other WMS.

Contacts both internal and external clients with issues that may arise and answers general questions regarding shipments.

Responsible for timely order entry and delivery of clinical study materials and clinical supplies to distribution facilities, customer affiliates, and/or investigator sites globally.

Identifies discrepancies as they arise and uses problem-solving abilities. Reports reasons for discrepancies to Supervisor.

Ability to respond to and/or communicate using emails or other software on a professional and on a timely manner.

Tracks non-executable order issues

Serves as a troubleshooter and resolves problems inherent in order processing issues. Seeks advice/input on more complex problems.

Interacts with cross-functional support teams (Client Services, Distribution, QA, IT etc.).

Recognizes strategic opportunities for process improvement within the Logistics group.

Establishes clear timelines for accomplishing goals.

Independently solves routine problems/issues. Seeks advice/input on more complex problems.

Participate, lead, and drive Continuous Improvement – PPI (Practical Process Improvement) events by encouraging employees to enter JDIs (Just Do Its) and perform Gemba's

Conducts all activities safely and efficiently.

Learn, adapt, and train on new concepts.

Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

How will you get here?Education

High school diploma or GED required, associate degree or higher preferred

Or college credentials

Experience Required

2+ years of customer service/data entry experience

Minimum Qualifications :

Computer proficiency

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Experience in WMS

Strong sense of urgency

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to wear PPE as required

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Critical thinker and possess problem solver abilities

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Walk and stand up to 6 hours at a time

Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
