Entry Level Laboratory TechnicianJob Description:
Make and sterilize media for testing
Enforce all food safety and quality procedures.
Maintain calibration for all lab equipment
Responsible for taking samples from production and running various testing on raw and finished product.
Must be comfortable with standing, climbing and lifting up to 25lbs.
Please not this is a manufacturing environment.
Hard Skills:
Proficiency in chemistry
Experience as a lab technician
Skills in chromatography
Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry or related science field (biology, natural science, etc.) including completion of lab coursework
Soft Skills:
Flexibility to work various shifts or cover for absent colleagues
Commitment to a rigorous training schedule
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Work Environment:
The Quality Control lab operates continuously, requiring our team to be available for any shift.
New hires typically start on the 3rd shift (6pm-6am) and will adhere to a 2-2-3 schedule.
Shifts are based on seniority, with opportunities to move to preferred shifts over time.
Training encompasses both analytical and packaging lab procedures, spanning approximately 6-7 weeks.
