Job Title: Greenhouse WorkerJob DescriptionThis position involves working both inside and outside of a greenhouse. Primary responsibilities include sampling genetically engineered plant tissue for DNA and protein testing to identify desired traits, planting engineered cotton seeds, and maintaining optimal growth conditions. Additional duties include preparing buffer solutions for protein extraction from cotton leaves, assisting in plant selection, transplanting, plant placement, and overall plant care.Hard Skills

Workers will be handling soil and plants, so they must be comfortable with getting dirty and should not have allergies to plants. The shift is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.
