SUMMARY AutoZone offers paid internships in various departments throughout our organization. These internships are located at our Store Support Center (SSC) - Corporate Offi ce - in downtown Memphis, TN. The Organizational Development Program Intern will assist in creation, planning, and administration of organizational and talent programs and processes to support the organizational design function. The ideal candidate for an internship in Organizational Development with AutoZone is a motivated, fast learner with a passion for organizational design and/or talent development. They have a high understanding of organizational development, organizational psychology, or human resources. Always putting the customer first, they are committed to delivering results and seeking out opportunities to support the program and team to help deliver to our internal customer. This position sits on the Organizational Team in Human Resources and reports to the Director, Organizational Development. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the administration of internal talent and OD programs
Handle several concurrent projects with timely deliverables
Work effectively as a member of a team, completing tasks as required whether alone or in close collaboration with others
Contribute innovative ideas to improve and promote internal programs
QUALIFICATIONS
Interest in Organizational Development or Talent Development programs and processes
Understanding of talent development, Organizational Design and/or human resource functions and how they impact an organization
Ability to work independently or collaboratively to ensure completion of assigned work
Strong interpersonal skills to make sure the job is done right
Proficient with MS Office
Currently enrolled in a university with a major in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Business Management, or related study
