Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant. Your role will be pivotal in the financial services industry, ensuring smooth HR operations within our organization. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, where you will handle a variety of HR-related tasks.Responsibilities Oversee the HR Management System (HRMS) and ensure it is utilized effectively. Conduct background checks for potential employees in line with our company's standards and regulations. Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, providing exceptional customer service at all times. Coordinate and manage various benefit functions within the organization. Maintain up-to-date, accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary action in response to changes or issues. Support customer applications, ensuring they are processed accurately and swiftly. Utilize ADP Workforce Now for various HR tasks and operations. Assist with Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATS) tasks as required. Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive personnel information. Requirements Proficiency in Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) Experience conducting background checks Understanding of benefit functions Strong customer service skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of HR regulations and policies Experience in data entry and reporting in HR systems Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred Previous experience in Human Resources role is advantageous Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint Ability to adapt to new technologies and systems quickly.
