Description We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an IT Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business and technology, analyzing business needs and translating them into effective IT solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring that IT initiatives align with the organization's strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and processes.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather information.
Create detailed business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Develop process flows and diagrams to visualize business processes.
Implement process changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking.
Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of IT solutions.
Manage project scope and change requests.
Develop test cases and test plans to validate system functionality.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support to end-users.
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders at all levels.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Manage expectations and resolve conflicts.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a business analyst or in a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Jira).
Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT systems.
Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) preferred.
