We are more than a transportation company. Forward is a single resource for your shipping needs. Position: Logistics Lead Core Responsibilities & Duties:

Lead a team of logistics professionals to ensure organizational standards are met

Maintain, and improve KPI requirements (both internal and external)

Ensure staffing levels are adequate

Help to process daily shipments via common carrier, integrator, and freight forwarder

Communicating with customer and vendors globally, both in writing and verbally

Work within multiple ERP platforms, WMS and MRP systems to ensure accurate inventory control

Light warehouse tasks such as labeling, coordinating trucking schedules, etc.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience supervising a 3PL warehouse is a plus

Familiarity with managing to a P&L

Candidate must be strong with using Excel, Word, and ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle

Understanding and working knowledge of UPS WorldShip and FedEx Power ship

Proficient experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point and Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with candidates and employees 

Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal   

This candidate must be able to work effectively in a highly cross-functional organization, as well as work independently

Requires the ability to make judgments and work with minimum supervision
