[Hope Primary Care is a small faith-based medical practice committed to delivering exceptional care and service to our community. We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Assistant to join our highly energetic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare and the skills necessary to perform clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.[Responsibilities
[1. Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures
[2. Document patient information into the medical record
[3. Prepare and administer medications as directed by the medical provider
[4. Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
[5. Facilitate the efficient flow of patients by managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out
[6. Maintain patient rooms, exam rooms, and common areas; ensure all areas are clean and organized
[7. Handle routine patient calls and correspondence under the providers guidance
[8. Cover front desk as needed
[9. Follow up on referrals
[10. Answer the phone, send medical records, requests medical records
[11. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures[Requirements
[1. High school diploma or equivalent required
[2. Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred
[3.At least 3 years of MA experience in a medical office or hospital setting
[4.Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols
[5.Phlebotomy experience required and used daily
