Network Engineer

Description We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal network performance, security, and reliability. Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

Configure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Install and maintain network hardware and software.

Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions.

Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.

Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and best practices.

Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.

Optimize network performance through configuration changes and capacity planning.

Implement network monitoring tools to track network health and identify anomalies.

Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Create network diagrams and other visual representations of the network infrastructure.

Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.

Collaborate with end-users to provide technical support and resolve network-related issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in network engineering.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model, etc.).

Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) from leading vendors.

Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Certification in network engineering (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) preferred.
