Operations Manager 2nd Shift

Manager Operations is responsible for directing all warehouse and distribution operations for a shift(s) to ensure timely, accurate and secure shipping and distribution of product to our customers.Responsible for strategically managing the operation in compliance with company policies and visionInitiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and proceduresSet, prepare, and present KPI’sConduct daily operations meetingsProficient giving project presentations to senior managementLiaise with clients, suppliers, transport companies and other Conectiv site managementFull ownership of safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience in the departmentStrategic planning and forecasting, performance assessments, complex problem solving, labor balancing, and daily/weekly/monthly staffing determinationProduce reports and statisticsRecruit, select, orientate, and motivate employeesMentor, train, and develop Leads and Supervisors for career progressionDevelop and share best practices across the shifts and networkProven ability to drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with our explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment.Must be available to adjust work hours as necessary to meet business demands and customer requirements.Supervisory ResponsibilityCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a warehouse floor environment.
