Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in Memphis, Tennessee. The role involves maintaining inventory data entry with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be adept at using QuickBooks for inventory purposes and will often interact with truck drivers while working in an office separate from the warehouse space. The schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00-3:30pm and the moves to 9:30-6:00 eventually. Please only apply if you can commit to these hours. Responsibilities: Processing a high volume of data entries for inventory, which includes manual entry of Bills of Lading (BOLs) into QuickBooks. Ensuring accuracy of data entry by reviewing and correcting any errors in the inventory records. Assisting with the scale desk, which includes interacting with truck drivers. Maintaining accurate customer records and taking appropriate action based on the data. Responding to inquiries related to inventory and order status, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Collaborating with team members across three terminals to ensure smooth operations. Utilizing QuickBooks for inventory management, ensuring no financial information is processed. Handling high-volume data entry tasks efficiently without compromising on accuracy. Utilizing skills in Inventory software to manage and track inventory effectively. Answering inbound calls as required, providing prompt and accurate information to caller.Requirements Proficiency in QuickBooks and other inventory software Proven experience in high-volume data entry Ability to answer inbound calls promptly and professionally Knowledgeable in handling Bills of Lading Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent attention to detail Superior written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills Familiarity with office equipment and procedures High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
