The Haystack in Millington is looking for an experienced cook, with clean work habits and enthusiasm, who knows how to prepare breakfast. Experienced short order grill cooks need only apply.
Must have similar restaurant experience, in high volume, fast paced breakfast kitchen; must be reliable and able to work weekends. The Grill Cook will complete orders, place food on plates. Grill and cook all breakfast items, as well as grill and garnish hamburgers, steaks, as well as other meats and menu items. Good working environment, friendly staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing hot and cold food with quality and maintaining a clean kitchen while representing The Haystack in a professional manner. Be able to cook on a flat top, use a deep fryer, char grill and pizza oven. Grill/Cook menu items to order for breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Knife skills are required. Must be 18 years or older to apply.
REQUIREMENTS:
Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen including all floors, equipment, workstations and walls
Able to prep efficiently while keeping a clean work area
Able to handle large volume orders in a short period of time
Stock all beverages daily. Performs additional responsibilities, as requested. Must be able to work any day or night of the week including weekends.
